It is the teacher who can create a national perspective for understanding social and economic difference in the nation. The teacher should be a model to his own image in the minds of his students. The present study seeks to compare the mental health of secondary school teachers in respect of their location, gender and stream of teaching. Twenty school teachers chosen from Krishnanagar-II, block of Nadia district of West Bengal as sample. RCE mental health scale by Anand (1992) has been adopted by present researchers. Study revealed that, teachers’ mental health was not changeable in respect of their location, gender and stream of teaching.
