Abstract

This paper presents some results on the modeling and analysis of networked control systems (NCS). The problem analyzed is the design of control systems whose elements are interconnected by a communication network. For modeling and simulations of NCS coloured Petri nets and design/CPN software tool were chosen. The simulation results of a simple tank system are presented, but within the research activity the cascade system with two connected tanks is also studied.
