The objectives of this study are to appraise the physical community projects by social groups/organization and government in Zungeru, examine the impact of self help community development efforts in the area, review problems associated with community development organizations and finally attempt physical planning measures to ensure effective CBOs development efforts in the study area. Data were procured through primary and secondary source and simple analytical statistical frequency methods were utilized. Various community based projects were found to have been executed by both the private organizations and the government but with little impact.
