Abstract

The present paper shows the new technology in the manufacture of aluminum cables for transmission lines, with this technology it is possible to manufacture overhead cable that perform with high gain in efficiency and ampacity in a transmission line through the reduction of the operational temperature of the conductor, significantly reducing the installation costs and improvement in the reliability of the power grid.
