Abstract

Abstract: Surface electric and magnetic currents induced by high-frequency waves on a spherical sheet with arbitrary face impedances are obtained. The influences of several diffraction phenomena on surface currents are given in explicit expressions. Field components of the scattered field are obtained by the terms of surface cur­ rents. The results explain the contribution of surface currents to scattered field components in a quite simple form and may be used in inverse scattering problems.
