In this paper, we have proposed a credit card payment method using visual cryptography. Visual cryptography is applied to captcha generated by the merchant during the registration phase, to a text file containing credit card details sent by the Merchant Plug-In to the Card Provider Directory Server, and to Quick Response Code containing One Time Password that is used to authorize payment transaction. The purpose of this method is to improve e-payment security, especially in terms of authentication, authorization, and confidentiality. Abstract
