The user interface for this system is implemented in a manner that makes advantage of portable devices. In addition, it provides control of home appliances using mobile devices by employing Wi-Fi as the communication protocol and the Raspberry Pi Uno as the controller. The home user will be responsible for following the system as it travels over the Internet via the web-based user interface.
