Abstract
Design formulas for the real-to-real impedance transformer consisting of two transmission line sections are developed by analyzing the real and imaginary parts of the input impedance. The proposed design formulas may be used to obtain flat real-to-real impedance transformation, as well as wideband impedance transformers with low ripple of the real part of the input impedance.
