Abstract
This paper presents a current driver for an integrated angular acceleration sensor readout circuit. The architecture of the proposed amplifier consists of a voltage follower and an inverting amplifier to achieve a differential output. The amplifier and the follower are based on a three-stage class AB operational amplifier with a power output stage. The output current of current driver is controlled by input voltage and has a maximum value of 80 mA. The proposed circuit is designed in 0.18 μm CMOS technology. The typical output current flow in an equivalent sensor load of 50 Ohm is 10 mA with a rise time of 40 ns.
