Abstract

This text offers students the opportunity to learn about daily life and culture in the different countries where English is spoken as a first language. It shows the similarities and differences between life in Britain, the USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica and Trinidad. The book provides information through a wide variety of reading texts, colour photographs and illustrations. Also included are regular and frequent exercise sections focusing on reading and listening comprehension and language skills development.
