Second-Harmonic One-Millimeter Gyromonotron

Abstract

Radiation at 238 GHz with peak power of the order of 50 W has been obtained from a second-harmonic gyromonotron. Initial measurements with a Fabry-Perot interferometer indicate a spectral width of at most a few MHz.
