Abstract

Guided by the large theoretical interest in quantum entanglement and the ongoing related experiments, we discuss a proposal for this connection in terms of an extra spatial dimension. Through this 5th compact dimension, particles created from one source at a point in the 5D spacetime remain apparently instantly connected via the 5th hidden dimension at a length scale ∼ `Planck/2π.
