Information System User's Collaboration Network Embeddedness and Behavioral Performance

Abstract

Based on network embedding theory, a model of relational embedding, structural embedding and behavioral performance of users' collaborative networks was constructed, and the moderating role of task complexity in it was explored. Using the panel data of a manufacturing enterprise information system log from November 2011 to September 2020 for empirical test, it was found that users' relational embedding and structural embedding in the collaborative network would enhance their behavioral performance; task complexity negatively moderates the relationship between users' relational embedding in the collaborative network and behavioral performance, and positively moderates the relationship between structural embedding and behavioral performance in collaborative networks.
