The participation of computer technology has brought new challenges and opportunities to basic music teaching, and has greatly promoted the innovation of basic music teaching. The purpose of this article is to research the application of computer technology (ACT) in music teaching in colleges and universities elementary education. In this paper, the ACT in elementary music teaching, described from many angles teaching ear training, music appreciation teaching, music teaching. On the basis of the above, the positive role of computers in the application of basic music teaching is systematically analyzed, so that students will be interested in basic music teaching and improve student learning efficiency and teacher teaching quality. The experimental research results show that the actual ACT in music composition teaching is the best, at 94.28%, followed by sight Singing and Ear training and music appreciation teaching, with an average of about 92%.
