Abstract

Poloidal limiters are required on the Tokamak Physics Experiment (TPX) for startup and to provide protection to the RF antennas. This paper discusses the conceptual design of these limiters and the analyses associated with the design. The configuration of the limiters is described and includes the carbon-carbon (C-C) tile design and their attachment concept.
