Large Eddy Simulation of Turbulent Circular Jet Using OpenFOAM

Abstract

The results of Large Eddy Simulation performed using free and open-source code OpenFOAM are presented. Different numerical aspects including mesh and time step sensitivity of numerical simulation results are investigated. The comparisons with experimental data and the results obtained by the in-house code were performed, and good agreement is demonstrated.
