Test And Evaluation Of An Improved Cold Water Diving Suit

Abstract

A technical review of the Navy development program of diver thermal protection systems is presented. Topics include a discussion of the thermal requirements for the military diver, the development and application of analytical thermal modeling techniques, a review of the program progress, and a description of the configuration and testing completed on the Passive Diver Thermal Protection System. This System is currently being supplied to Fleet divers.
