Abstract

This paper is presenting the results of the first version of Android mobile application “MasterRoute” for finding the optimal traffic route between multiple locations while avoiding the routes that are blocked. Testing results were utilized to improve functionalities and offer better solutions. In addition, this paper presents the development of new features for the Android mobile application that will use appropriate tools for collecting and sharing user traffic information, selecting the optimal traffic route and/or parking space, using voice commands to interact with users, and a reward system. Provided solution in this paper aims to be cost and time efficient.
