Abstract

Firstly this paper summarizes the model of the disaster loss calculation based on GIS grid, and then develops a regional disaster assessment information system based on WebGIS. Using the space grid as the computing unit, grid-based disaster damage assessment model gives us a new way to analyze and process the disaster geospatial data and the socio-economic data on the unit grid.
