Abstract

Reading is one of the important links in high school English teaching. It is the fundamental way for students to accept texts, learn knowledge and exchange ideas. The key competency proposed in the revised English Curriculum Standards for Senior High schools is to develop students' core quality of English subject, and advocate teachers practice English learning activity view in order to promote the development students' core quality.
