It has become a tough worldwide problem. In the next 4–6 years with global large-scale wind power development, it is inevitable that the difficulties to integrate into the power grid will appear, which seriously restricts the development of global wind power industry. The proposed new application mode of “non-grid-connected” wind power fully takes into account the wind power characteristics, and breaks the single on-grid application mode of large-scale wind power. By the necessary technical innovation and integration, the non-grid-connected mode directly couples wind power with high-energy consumption industries (such as electrolytic aluminum, chlor-alkali, hydrogen production by water electrolysis, seawater desalination and coal chemicals, etc.), so as to build several green heavy chemical industry parks. 非并网风电对超大规模风电利用的战略意义与路径
