In this study, the reasons for the weak efficiency of SWTs in charge applications of batteries are investigated and suggested structures to enhance the output power of the wind turbines are discussed. The study methodology is based on defining various study cases combining structural and operational parameters of the wind energy system. This system contains a rectifier controlled by direct power control (DPC) method and a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) driven by a wind turbine. The proposed model for the PMSG, a force commutated rectifier, DC bus, a buck converter and an inverter are developed and control algorithm is performed with these components. The computation of flux level from the torque command is improved that the direct current equal to zero. The main conclusion drawn by the proposed comparative control with simulation.
