Abstract

This paper presents an initial work concerning a holistic semantic modeling approach enabling personalized dietary recommendations. Focus is given here to the review of existing semantic resources and food information resources covering different aspects of the domain. A gap analysis in relation to a comprehensive conceptual model is given. This work is part of a recently started project named LiFANA - Lifelong Food and Nutrition Assistance (www.lifana.eu).
