Does Corporate Governance Influence the Performance of Romanian Companies in A Period of Maximum Uncertainty? Empirical Analysis on The Case of Companies Listed on The Bucharest Stock Exchange

Abstract

This article aims to highlight the impact that a company's management structure has on the profitability of an enterprise during the period of uncertainty that the emergence of the new COVID-19 virus has created. In order to achieve the objective, a series of panel regressions is carried out, following which an analysis over a period of 3 years (more precisely the years 2019, 2020 and 2021) will be outlined. In Romania, this virus appeared at the beginning of 2020, more precisely on 26.02.2020.
