Abstract

In wireless sensor networks (WSNs), sensors are deployed in a harsh conditions to monitor the environment. They sense the target location and transfer the information to a sink. WSN is applied in several applications such as location monitoring, health care monitoring, industrial monitoring, and military applications. In these applications, location estimation is one of the primary objective. “The EELE is simulated using NS2 to analyze the protocol and results show that the proposed mechanism performs well as compared to its competitive mechanisms”.
