[The behavior of BAEE-lytic proteinases in the sulcus fluid in inflammatory periodontopathies].

Abstract

The esterolytic activity of proteinases was measured in the gingival crevicular fluid from healthy and inflamed periodonts using BAEE as substrate. The BAEE-activity was significantly increased in crevices with inflamed periodonts.
