The system classifies the status of the section into three broad categories, viz. single train movement in the adjacent block sections, offensive train movement in the adjacent block sections and back to back train movement in the adjacent block sections. The control algorithm for each category is unique and the operational parameters are according to the existing system of control. Abstract
This paper explains an automatic rail traffic control system for bi-directional sections and provides a complete train control solution for single line sections.
