Abstract
A new ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) with single-notch band is presented in this paper. Single notch-band inside the UWB passband are implemented by a centrally loaded resonator attached to the main transmission line of the initial UWB BPF. The single notch-band can be easily generated and set at any desired frequencies by varying the designed parameters of centrally loaded resonator. Rejection level at desired frequencies is -33.99 dB and pass band insertion loss is almost 0 dB. For verification, a UWB BPF with single notch-band at frequency of 6.8 GHz is designed.
