Abstract
Listening to music in one's life can help focus or relax, but inappropriate music can cause side effects. Moreover, listening to music or playing an instrument can promote memory and learning. Besides, the benefits of listening to music also include improving movement, body coordination and increase concentration and attention. This paper develops a brain wave application app that recommends music, integrates and analyzes brain wave data. Our research work is hoping to let users quickly understand their status and suitable music types. There is a lot of research on the application of music and brain waves to life. This paper uses a brainwave instrument combined with Android Studio to develop mobile phone software. It uses Bluetooth transmission to Electroencephalography (EEG) on the phone screen to analyze the emotional effects of different music. The researcher tries to detect brain waves to enhance the quality of life and reduce stress. Furthermore, our experiment focuses on attention and meditation and increases the calculation of fatigue, reading quality, sleep quality, and driving quality. By using our system, users can more easily understand their state. In addition, our music recommendation system implements games to recommend suitable music to users. Finally, users can improve concentration, relaxation, and quality of life by listening to music recommended by our system.
