Research topics on Smart Learning

Abstract

The third edition of the Smart Learning track, in addition to representing its consolidation, with four high level papers accepted, has been special due to the circumstances caused by the fact that it has been online. For this reason, the track session has been designed on the basis of a questionnaire and an online discussion session, with very interesting results. We present a snapshot of the situation of the main research topics in the field of Smart Learning, with regard to their degree of maturity, the challenge that each one represents in the future and the impact that is expected on learning. In addition to characterizing nine main topics, the need to add a new one on ethical and legal aspects has been detected and reflection has been carried out on the future of the discipline.
