Abstract

This paper explain optimization technique used on HSPA+ network model in urban area, using HSPA service customer map in Bandung city and geographic data of Bandung city. Optimization technique involves antenna height change, antenna mechanical tilt change and reconfiguration of transmitter pilot power level. Optimization effect will be seen by measuring network coverage parameter (RSCPgood.area(%) and Ec/Iogood.area(%)), network capacity parameter (Voice call success rate and HSPA Service Average Success rate) and also service quality parameter (High Speed Internet downlink throughput per user).
