Abstract

In the paper we conduct a numerical experiment to check, if it possible to fix parameters of the model with fractional difference operator of variable-order. We investigate discrete-time fractional operator with variable-order of convolution type. We work with fitting the constant coefficients of an equation and the parameters of considered class of order function. We use Iscurvefit routine from Matlab program to get the optimal values of these parameters, which minimise mean squared error between experimental (simulated) data and data given from the theoretical model.
