Abstract
In urban environments, the radar is well capable of detecting and tracking unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). In this paper, we introduce an X-band small phased array radar based on the AD9361. For a UAV with a radar cross section (RCS) of about 0.01, the radar has a detection radius of 5 km and a detection height of 250 m.
