It will become a trend to deploy the 5G technology in future smart grids. However, the operations of the 5G base stations (BSs) will contribute most of the energy consumption in cellular networks. In view of this, we propose a resource sharing scheme between the telecom operators and the virtual power plants (VPPs), which the VPPs leases the BSs of the telecom operator to assist information transmission and the BSs can obtain the energy from the VPPs. Next, the hierarchical game is adopted to obtain the equilibrium solution.
