Abstract
This paper presents an ultra low-power RMS-to-DC converter circuit for biomedical. The circuit comprises of absolute value circuit and RMS-to-DC converter with feedback. The circuit employs low power CMOS technology that operate in subthreshold region. We found that the purpose circuit can work very well at low voltage of ± 0.3V and low power consumption at 75.18 pW. The HSPICE simulation results were in a great agreement with the theoretical prediction.
