Abstract

Propagation measurements were performed in an urban area at 8.45 GHz. We examined the delay and angle spread characteristic of the main arrival wave at the base-station receiving antenna. The delay spread (/spl sigma//sub d/) tends to increase with the angle spread (/spl sigma//sub main/spl phi//).
