Abstract

This paper presents control of switching frequency twice the output frequency for a matrix converter in induction heating application. The duty cycles of the matrix converter are derived, and the operating waveform and the switching pattern are indicated. The effectiveness of the proposed control is verified by the distortion rate of power supply current of simulations and experiments.
