Abstract

Zone-based taxi queuing combines the concept of hunting and waiting. However, it may lead to traffic congestion in certain spots of the queuing zone. To solve above problems, we propose a hotspot aware taxi zone queuing system. Our system adaptively adjusts the service status of queuing line in the zone, and guides taxis to different hotspots based on the mechanism and infrastructure of the zone-based queuing mode.
