Організація військово-історичних досліджень на території Південної України на початку ХХ ст.

Abstract

The article deals with the influence of the Imperial Russian Military Historical Society on the historiographical process on the territory of Southern Ukraine and its links with local historians. The main  attention  is  paid  to  organizational  and  communicative  aspects.  The  association  was  able  to  extend  its  influence  to  military  and  secular  historians  who  lived  and  worked  in  Odessa,  Crimea, Ekaterinoslav and some smaller towns of Southern Ukraine. Historians from the South of Ukraine, for the sake of studying military history, established a connection with the main cell in St. Petersburg, its Kyiv department and with each other.
