Abstract

Green traffic allocation is a strategy to proactively reduce pollution in logistics network. A bi-objective programming model taking into account the green and economic benefits was built for the green traffic flow allocation problem on logistics network, and then a two-stage algorithm was designed. In the first stage, alternative paths are generated for each origin-destination flow by iterating the k-shortest path algorithm. In the second stage, the solution of traffic allocation with best green utility is chosen from candidate solutions. By numeric simulation under different scenarios, the model and algorithm were verified and numeric analysis was conducted with some valuable conclusions.
