Abstract
This paper deals with the topology of contra-rotating permanent magnet synchronous machine for the application of direct driven wind power generation (CRPMSMWPG). The existing single rotor wind power generators are capable of generating less power. In the proposed twin rotor contra-rotating wind power generators capable of generating twice the power of single rotor generator. The design has experimented at various wind speeds and its performance has evaluated. This renewable model and design were compared with those of the existing model to promote green energy systems in the future.
