The Development and Evaluation for Japanese "Origami" Application with 3D Expression

Abstract

"Origami", a Japanese traditional handicraft work, is the very popular art for Japanese. Its Japanesque beauty also has a high rating abroad. It is considered that "gOrigami" is a mysterious culture and a characteristic of Japan. In this study, we create the prototype of the 3D system by using a smartphone. We also evaluate the system and examine the utility.
