Abstract

There are few reports to compare gastrointestinal motility in a seated posture and that in a supine posture for the evaluation of the severity of the motion sickness. It is difficult to distinguish between postural differences by using nonlinear analysis of the electrogastrograms (EGGs) of healthy individuals. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of applying a complex dynamic analysis method to the EGGs of healthy young individuals between in a seated posture and those in a supine posture.
