Deposited magnetic films as logic elements

Abstract

The use of thin magnetic films as storage elements is well known. Several papers on the subject have appeared in the literature, particularly in recent years. Less emphasized, perhaps, is the use of magnetic films as logic elements. The authors' study in this area has revealed that film elements are both flexible and versatile as logic devices.
