The topology combines the traditional active switched inductor with a Quasi-Z source network, which can improve the converter’s voltage gain without the limitation of duty cycle and the influence of switching stress. The steady-state characteristics and working principle are analyzed, and then the power loss is analyzed and compared with other references. The prototype circuit is designed in the power electronics laboratory, and the performance of the converter is verified under the condition of 200W with the input voltage of 20-30v and the output voltage of 200V. Abstract

The boost capability of the traditional DC-DC boost converter is limited, and the main switch device may bear higher voltage stress or current stress. A non-isolated DCDC step-up converter is proposed to meet the needs of high-gain new energy power generation. The topology combines the traditional active switched inductor with a Quasi-Z source network, which can improve the converter’s voltage gain without the limitation of duty cycle and the influence of switching stress. The steady-state characteristics and working principle are analyzed, and then the power loss is analyzed and compared with other references. The prototype circuit is designed in the power electronics laboratory, and the performance of the converter is verified under the condition of 200W with the input voltage of 20-30v and the output voltage of 200V.
