The energy costs for the compression of low-grade steam process were analyzed. The scheme of the technological process of compression of low-grade steam is proposed. The graphs of the dependence of the productivity coefficient were built. The system was also compared with steam mechanical compression and a boiler room to ensure the thermal needs of the consumer. The results of comparing energy costs expressed in fuel equivalent for consumers of hot water from a boiler and from a steam compression system of an enterprise are presented.
