Sin embargo, la COVID-19 implico suspender actividades educativas en mas de 100 paises, incluido Chile, porque la movilidad de personas implica un riesgo a nivel general, sobre todo en el marco de la formacion clinica. Dicho escenario ha implicado que las escuelas de medicina hayan tenido que transformar sus estrategias de ensenanza-aprendizaje. Objetivo. Presentar los resultados de la adaptacion a un formato en linea del curso Neurociencias clinicas para medicina, correspondiente a las asignaturas de Psiquiatria de adultos y Psiquiatria infanto-juvenil, y de su implementacion. Materiales y metodos. Se desarrollaron aspectos propios de la didactica de aula clinica, pero a traves de plataformas educativas en linea que buscaban generar las competencias requeridas por la especialidad. Resultados y conclusiones. Estos dan cuenta de una alta tasa de adhesion a las sesiones, tanto sincronicas como asincronicas. Asimismo, la observacion de pacientes simulados, el analisis de casos en role-play, la adaptacion de cuestionarios y pautas observacionales, entre otros, reflejan el desarrollo favorable de esta asignatura. Mas aun, en consideracion con la tradicion practica que tiene el paso por psiquiatria en la formacion medica antes del internado clinico, la evidencia descrita da cuenta de la efectividad que reviste implementar un curso en esta modalidad. EnglishIntroduction. Undergraduate training in Psychiatry in the PUC School of Medicine represents around 10% of the curriculum. However, COVID-19 has implied the suspension of educational activities in more than 100 countries, including Chile, because the mobility of people implies a risk at a general level, especially in the framework of clinical training. This scenario has implied that schools of medicine have had to transform their teaching-learning strategies. Aims. The objective of this work is to present the results of the adaptation to an online format of the Clinical Neurosciences for Medicine course, corresponding to the subjects of Adult Psychiatry and Child-Adolescent Psychiatry and its implementation. Materials and methods. The methodology developed aspects of clinical classroom didactics, but through online educational platforms that sought to generate the skills required by the specialty. Results and conclusions. The results obtained show a high rate of adherence to sessions, both synchronous and asynchronous. Likewise, the observation of simulated patients, the analysis of cases in role-play, the adaptation of questionnaires and observational guidelines, among others, reflect the favorable development of this subject.
