Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to make the reader aware of a technology that will affect our everyday lives in the manner that the Internet has affected us in the decade of the 1990s; that technology involves the fuel cell. The fuel cell will impact the energy industry as completely as the Internet has impacted the telecommunication industry. The fuel cell is based upon sound fundamental science and the technology to make it a commonplace energy source already exists.
