Abstract
This study reports the connection between the geomagnetic Disturbance Storm Time (D st ) and the catches of seven harmful moth species in pheromone traps. The collections occurred between 1982 and 2013, mostly using two traps per species. The captured moths were counted every morning. A relationship was found between the values of geomagnetic Disturbance Storm Time (D st ) and the number of trapped moths for all species but the relationships varied. Three types were identified, namely increasing, increasing then decreasing and decreasing then increasing.
