Abstract

The design and evaluation results of a multimedia operating system scheduler simulator are described. The simulator focuses on evaluating the suitability of various Process scheduling algorithms for a Multimedia Operating System. The simulator has been designed such that various generic scheduling algorithms can be plugged into the existing code easily with a little knowledge about the various structures involved in the design.
